June 17, 2004, Sichuan Jinyang Corning Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., jointly funded by Sichuan Jinyang Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Dalian Corning Silicon Industry Development Co., Ltd., officially opened
Sichuan Jinyang Corning Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is a silicon production enterprise established in February this year, with a total investment of 30 million yuan. It can produce 20000 tons of crystalline silicon for high precision and 6000 tons of micro silicon powder per year. The enterprise will be provided with technology by Dalian Corning silicon Co., Ltd., which mainly produces chemical grade crystalline silicon widely used by pressure testing machine. Products meeting the requirements in land use, sewage treatment and other aspects will be exported to Dow Corning company of the United States. The enterprise is currently the largest crystalline silicon production enterprise in Sichuan Province and will also become an important silicon product production base in China
